Why ReBIT?

Here's why our team loves working at ReBIT!

“What is absolutely exciting about my role in ReBIT is the immense opportunity to collaborate, create, learn and make an impact. The access to industry stalwarts, experts in academia and the apex regulatory authorities is a privilege in itself. The experience of being immersed in an ambitious start-up - donning various hats, learning new things and building a new brand, day by day, is truly enriching. I am grateful to be part of a close-knit team and an open, autonomous culture.”

Anupama Narayanan

Senior Manager, Marketing & Brand

"The decision to join ReBIT after spending a decade and a half in IT Consultancy brought a lot of fresh perspective to my life. Professionally, it has provided me with an opportunity to not only work for the prestigious central bank of the country but also be involved in the roadmap definition with many small steps leading to the Digital India vision. On a personal note, it has given me the opportunity to 'officially' settle down with my family in Mumbai with local travels to customer (RBI) location, a distant dream in the hectic work at my previous organizations."

Trayambkeshwar Vatsa

AVP, Enterprise Architecture

“What is the key indicator of a good job?
The answer is really simple: ‘if you feel more enthusiastic about Mondays than Fridays, then you are at the right place.’ This is the feeling I get while working at ReBIT. In the security industry, where change is the only constant, my job demands that I stay on top of cutting edge security solutions, learn about new technologies and the latest cyber threats in banking and non-banking financial services. This role is not just about working on the tasks assigned, but also demands that we introduce industry best-practices and carry out continuous Research and Innovation. Besides technology, audits and inspection, I also manage to spend my time towards personal growth, go gymming and also get to plan vacations. With such opportunities for personal and professional growth, I am absolutely happy at ReBIT!”

Harshada Desai - Muthe

Manager, IT General Controls

“The first day I walked into ReBIT I knew I am here to stay. Little did I know that my stay will be filled with high impact work, tremendous learning opportunities and seniors who always instil confidence. What would you do when your company believes in you tremendously…it gives you a new high to perform your best.Right from selection of office space, to what goes inside it, to getting to work with the CEO and Directors directly, to drafting policies and frameworks, my opinion matters in ReBIT and that makes it the best place for a steep career graph…I am home.”

The recent celebrations of International Women’s day at ReBIT were marked by speech from a successful women leader, interaction, fun-filled exercises, delicious treats, and tributes to women who have impacted men and women. The active participation of the male colleagues increased the impact of the event. Two-days prior to women’s day, Dr. Pradnya Saravade, Additional DGP of Maharashtra Police addressed ReBITians. She mentioned about the rising status of women and the social reinforcements. A surgeon and an IPS officer, Dr. Saravade also briefed on her motivation to join the civil services, impact of technology for policing and work life balance for young parents. She gave the keenly listening audience tips for focusing on physical well-being and mental health to ensure a long and successful professional life. ReBIT celebrated its 3rd foundation day on 4 July, 2019. It was definitely a “day to remember” as ReBITians reflected on their journey and values as a part of the ReBIT family. The third anniversary was a special occasion to pause, celebrate and reaffirm the company’s mission. On this memorable occasion, ReBITians braved the rain gods to gather and celebrate at their new office at Mindspace, Juinagar. The milestone was perfect to contemplate on the three-year long journey that the public start-up has traversed, which had started from a small space at the RBI, Belapur office. The office reception was tastefully decorated with flower-rangolis adorning the entrance and the zone was soon converted into a ‘Selfie-spot.’ The day commenced on a sweet note with the distribution of chocolates. After a scrumptious lunch, a laughter act by comedian Shaurya Tyagi was planned. ReBITians had a gala time at the ice-breaking remarks; and the HR department was extremely pleased when Shaurya announced to try his luck at a full time job by submitting his resume!

It happens quite so often that we tend to lose sight of the big picture in the quest to complete day-to-day tasks in work life. Interacting with senior leaders in the organization and partaking their vision helps us align to the right goals, tapping our hidden potential and enhancing our contribution in the process. ReBITians made the best use of a session as exclusive audience with Dr Viral Acharya, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India during his visit to ReBIT office last month. While welcoming Dr Acharya, Mr Nandkumar Saravade, CEO, ReBIT recalled the initial days of the formation of the company, the RBI leadership’s idea in setting-up an entity specializing in IT and cyber-security to support the central bank and the company’s quick growth in a short time span. He expressed his specific gratitude for Dr Acharya’s active role as a ReBIT board member, in shaping the vision and providing the impetus to its plans.
