Reports to AVP – Security Engineering

Education:

University degree in the field of computer science or IT

Experience/ Qualification

• A minimum of 6-8 years of IT experience with at least 4 years designing and implementing network security policies / best practices within a multi-platform environment
• Good project management skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in identifying vulnerabilities and security loop holes in the existing implementation
• Ability to lead security solution evaluation, purchase and implementation, gap assessment for new technology evaluation

Industry

Financial Domain (Banking / NBFC experience is desirable)

Responsibilities

• Define network related security policies, guidelines, strategy
• Define security guidelines and hardening documents for network / security devices (Routers, Firewalls (including WAF), IPS, Wi-Fi, VPN, Remote access etc.) and ensure implementation
• Must have good experience in working for network / security solutions like Firewall, IPS, and WAF etc.
• Define guidelines and conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• Advise and manage security operations through SOC. Should have experience in working on SIEM solutions and Incident management
• Work with SoC team to define event correlation rules related to network threats and vulnerabilities, ensure all events related to networks are tracked to closure
• Assist in incident management and Business Continuity Management for enterprise networks
• Represent security group during external and internal IT Security and IS audits
• Connect with sources who help update on current industry trends and security challenges
