Business Analyst

Reporting Structure

Reports to AVP - ADM/ Manager - ADM


MBA in Systems/Finance/Operations or equivalent Engineering Degree preferably CS/IT

Experience/ Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years as a Business Analyst

Minimum of 3 years and Maximum of 6 years of total experience.

Has led the requirement gathering phase for an enterprise class application and participated in the validation phases

Exposure to various requirement elicitation and documentation/ representation techniques

Good documentation skills

Capability to create static or working prototypes using appropriate tools

Exposure to various SDLC models (Waterfall, Agile etc)

Participated in validation phase by creating effective Testing strategy and executing the same 


Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services or Banking organization


Perform Requirement Management (Gathering, Analysis, Discussion with Stakeholders, Modelling and Documentation)

Leverage BPMN, xBML and relevant Business Process Modelling tools alongside MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio)

Perform feasibility analysis, gap analysis, scope projects, and work with the project management team to prioritize deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities

Aid in Requirements Knowledge Transfer and Functional Support to Development, Maintenance and Testing Teams

Own BRD, SRS, User Story, Use Case, User Manual and similar SDLC artefacts

Design and validate functional workflows and write UAT Test cases

Review of Functional documents, Test Plan and Test Cases from external teams

Able to perform basic SQL querying and appreciate database design

Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Functionality Testing

Act as a liaison between end-users, technical teams

Leverage ALM tools like JIRA, Rally etc. with sufficient familiarity with respect to Agile (SCRUM) and traditional waterfall projects

Partner across stakeholders to identify and consolidate requirements into a single repository for tracking and change management

Participate in business case analysis, ROI and other financial analysis related to the project

Perform other duties as assigned or requested by PMO or IT Project Manager

All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent


PMI-BA, CBAP, CCBA, CSBA or similar will be desirable
