Reporting Structure

Reports to the Manager/Sr. Manager

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required

Experience/ Qualifications
  • 1-3 years in a software development position
  • Experience in one of the technologies among Java / J2EE /Python/ ABAP / SAS/  ABAP / Microsoft Technologies like C#, .NET, ASP, SQL PL SQL / Oracle databases / Automation / functional testing
  • Exposure to Software Development/Support functions

Industry

Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services or Banking organization

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for design, code, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems (might include shifts based on business criticality)
  • Capable of developing robust high quality code from the specifications
  • Should have sound knowledge of data structure and algorithms
  • Have knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Flexible to work in different technologies and different stages of software development cycle
  • Be a hardworking team player and quick learner
  • Excellent problem solving skills and can do attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and articulation skills both spoken and written
  • Ability to learn new technologies and deliver as per business needs both in software development and/or Support projects

Certifications

Technology and Domain Specific Certifications are a plus
