Education

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Master Degree in Engineering (CS) Preferred

Experience(years)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of total experience in write production-ready code for both the front and back ends, can handle a database, and will be adept at continuous delivery concepts. Exposure to SAS Enterprise GRC will be an advantage

  • Maximum of 10 years of total IT experience

Industry

  • Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services or Banking organization

Responsibilities

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient production-ready code for both the front (incorporating UX best practices) and back ends

  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications

  • Implementation of security and data protection

  • Integration of data storage solutions

  • Write automated tests to ensure stability of the application

  • Maintain source code and help with continuous integration and delivery of the application

  • Application packaging and deployment

  • Specialization in Python, JavaScript, Angular JS and one of more frameworks is required

  • Demonstrate in Projects good grasp on the following topics related to databases and storage

    • Understand the benefits of relational data, e.g. SQL

    • Learn about NoSQL databases, e.g. MongoDB

    • Understand which would be better in certain situations

    • Know how to connect a database with your chosen back-end language (e.g. Node.js + MongoDB)

  • Demonstrate in Projects good understanding of Platform as a Service ,i.e. AWS

  • Demonstrate in Projects good understanding of version control system i.e. GIT or GIT Hub

Certifications

  • Python, J2EE, or equivalent certification is a must

  • ITIL and Agile Certifications are preferred

  • Technology and Domain Specific Certifications are a plus

Employment Type

  • On Contract - Full Time. Initially for a period of three years, extendable by mutual consent
