Ms. Babitha B. P. is currently working as Vice President - Systems Audit Vertical, at Reserve Bank Information Technology. Babitha has 20+ years of diverse experience in IT and information security. She has been driving IT security strategy and implementation while protecting the business from security threats and cyber-hacking.
Prior to ReBIT, she was heading IT security for CSB Bank Ltd. She has held a series of roles in information technology over the past decade and is an expert in IT risk assessment and mitigation.
She has extensive management and domain experience in driving information and cyber security programmes like next-gen SOC operation 24*7, incident management and response, security analytics, threat intelligence, artificial intelligence and machine learning, UBA, security monitoring, malware protection, standards (ISO 270001:2013, CIS, PCIDSS), procedures, IT-GRC, network security, data protection, third-party management, and business continuity planning.
Babitha has spoken at numerous national and international tech forums and summits and has been involved in mentoring young professionals in their career paths. She has participated in various cyber security awareness campaigns with the Rotary Clubs, IEEE, IMA, and others.
