Dr. Harale is currently working as Vice President and Head - Cyber Security Vertical at Reserve Bank Information Technology. Dr. Nareshkumar has more than 23 years of rich progressive experience in Information Risk Management, IT Infrastructure Security BOT, Cyber SOC, Next Generation SOC BOT, Red Teaming, Blue Teaming , Cyber Drill Solutions, Threat Hunting and Intelligence , UBEA/NBAD/PCAP Solutions, Security Engineering & Cyber Security Program. Dr. Harale has built and managed high-performance specialised skilled projects as well as operational teams across IT Security, Information security, Data Security, Data Privacy, Cyber security, IS/CS GRC and Research-Innovation Programs. He specialises in conceptualizing and architecting complex strategic and transformational projects.
Prior to joining ReBIT, Dr. Harale was the Head Information Security & GRC and CISO at IDBI Intech and has handled various roles across leading BFSI & Non BFSI entities such as IDBI Bank/Intech, IDBI Subsidiaries, DBS Bank, UBI Bank, NSE, KMB, SBI, TCL, PwC, SecureSynergy, Sify Technologies and LIC companies. He has also worked with various MSSP and Govt organisations. He holds well acclaimed IT/Infrastructure Security, Data Security and Cyber Security professional certifications like CISM, CCISO, CEH, CHFI, CISA, COBIT5.0, ITIL Expert, ISO 9000/20000/27001/22301 Lead Auditor, Agile Scrum Master, VCP5.0, PMP and numerous Technology /Cybersecurity vendor certifications.
Mr. Harale holds a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) specialised in Cyber Security and master’s degree in Computer Engineering (MTech.) He is also dedicated to improving skilled workforce development and career mentoring. He has been awarded as India’s Top 100 CISO 2021 and 2022 - IT Security Influencers and Community Contributors by CISO Platform.
