About the webinar
The Reserve Bank of India recently released the Master Direction on Payment Security Controls. The need for ensuring robust controls for security of digital payment systems has been underscored in this directive. The directive encourages innovation by urging regulated entities to consider alternatives to SMS based OTP authentication.
ReBIT, in collaboration with the FIDO Alliance is hosting this webinar to discuss the technology alternatives presently available, their benefits and limitations as well as practitioners insights from their implementation experience.

Dr Sundeep Oberoi
Former Global Head, TCS Cyber Security Practice
Dr. Oberoi has 36 years of industry, research and entrepreneurial experience in diverse areas of Information and Communication Technology. He has a wide spectrum of experience in Delivery Management of large and critical programmes, technology development, product development, business development, system integration and management of research laboratories. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from I.I.T Bombay, an M.Tech in Computer Science from I.I.T. Delhi and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T. Kanpur.
After a long sting with the Tata Group he now serves as the Chairman of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 – “Software and Systems Engineering”. He is active in standardization and apart from his role as chair of SC7 he is involved with various other standardization activities.
In his last role in TCS, Dr. Sundeep Oberoi served as Global Head of Cybersecurity Services Business Unit.
David Turner
Director of Standards Development, FIDO Alliance
As FIDO's Director of Standards Development, David oversees the specification development process of the technical working groups and other technical outputs of the FIDO Alliance. He also leads FIDO's engagements with other standards bodies. David has more than three decades of industry experience in product development, marketing, legal and corporate affairs, international standards development, and technology evangelism. He also has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the NFC Forum and the Open Mobile Alliance.

Srikanth has two decades of experience as a technology executive with vast experience in identifying and building consensus for enabling technologies that facilitate business priorities, processes, and strategic objectives. Experience in IT Strategy & Operations, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Technology and IT Security.
Srikanth has successfully delivered numerous enterprise large scale products and technology in complex and hybrid environments.
